Happy Christmas season, friends! This week on The Art of Simple, I’m sharing our Christmas tradition that I look forward to every year - our “slow and sacred” Christmas Day. If you’re without family on Christmas, or if you’re just tired of the hustle and bustle and frenzy and need something different, then this post is for you.

For us, Christmas Day is intended to unravel slowly. It’s uncomplicated, rustic, both restful and joyful, and broken into two parts: sacred time with just our family, and sacred time welcoming others in.
