🍁 Fall-Scented Sensory Dough with doTerra OnGuard Essential Oil

Fall is here! For our homeschool morning time, I recently made some fall-scented sensory dough with cinnamon and doTerra OnGuard essential oil. I used to make sensory dough all the time when the girls were really little but haven’t made it in awhile. It felt so good to play! You’re never too old for it.

OnGuard Fall-Scented Sensory Dough🍁

Ingredients:

Directions:

In a saucepan, add in the oil, and water. Stir to combine.

In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix well. Add dry ingredients to the saucepan and stir to combine with wet ingredients.

Cook over medium heat and keep stirring the whole time until the dough starts to form and becomes dry - this only takes a minute or two!

As soon as the dough starts to come together into a ball in the pot, remove from heat and turn dough out onto a piece of parchment paper on the counter. Let cool until you can touch it, then knead it for about a minute to make sure everything is smoothly mixed in. Add drops of OnGuard essential on top and knead into the dough. Every time you or your kid touches the dough, they get the benefits of OnGuard essential oil on their hands!

Store in airtight container at room temperature - should stay fresh for a few months due to all the salt! Discard if it gets tough or crusty, or obviously if it grows any mold.

NOTE: I guess technically this would be edible, but don’t eat it! 😆 For play only!
