The Kindred Life Podcast Ep. 17: From the Outside - The Mini Greenhouse

Well, I’m guessing this is probably the first time you’ve listened to a podcast that was recorded in a greenhouse. 😬 This was so fun to record! I was quite chatty in this episode - I think it was all the extra oxygen! 😂 This episode is from our “From The Outside” series, where I record an episode OUTSIDE to share with you ~ either from a spot on the farm or elsewhere. 🌿 These episodes are shorter and focused on soaking up the beauty of the outdoors and engaging all five of our senses. This episode was recorded in our mini 6’x10’ seed-starting greenhouse here on Kindred Farm.

From my little perch sandwiched next to zinnia, kale, and cabbage seedlings, I share what’s on my heart right now about environmentalism as I weave in some inspiring nature quotes. I also share some practical ways we can help heal the earth, right where we are. This episode covers everything from bartering to my fave new leggings.

Grab your own spot outside, and join me!

Here are some photos & links of things I mention in Episode 17. Listen to the episode so you know what this is about!

Started out recording freezing in a beanie…and ended up with hat head, sweating in a tank top. #greenhouselife

Here’s the Rachel Carson picture book we just read and loved: Rachel Carson and Her Book That Changed the World by Laurie Lawlor.

Cucumber seedlings are the actual cutest. 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
