My book baby turned 1️⃣ today! 🎉

What a journey its been.

To every one of you who has welcomed The Kindred Life book into your homes and lives, given it as gifts, read it in the wee hours of the morning, dog-eared the pages and covered them in underlines and cooking stains, sent me messages and cards in the mail, and even traveled across states to tell me in person what it’s meant to you…THANK YOU. 🫶🏽

I’m forever changed by this whole experience, especially the conversations I’ve gotten to have face-to-face with readers over the last year.

When I first signed with my publisher, my editor said that her hope for my book was that it would be “evergreen.” You know I love a good tree reference. 😉 My deep hope is that this book continues to live on through years and seasons and that you’ll continue to unearth your own Kindred Life within its pages.

Keep stepping forward in bravery, my friends.
Keep fighting for real.
Keep cultivating good things.

It’s worth it, I promise. ❤️🧡💛

I shared more thoughts on the whole book release process here.

Here’s a fun Reel celebrating what The Kindred Life has meant to people this year. So grateful!
